Well, considering that Caro is paying ridiculous amounts of money for the space and the girl that she moved in with is paying the same amount (not more) for her half, its technically half both of theirs. Caro has every right to tell her room-mate to stfu. After all, its a Jesuit university not some high school with a campus.Mac Dre wrote:you moved into her space and ur gunna tell her she cant have visitors? hmm dont expect that to go to well lol.. wouldnt if it was me

hmm, better go with begging her, cause it gives her a feel of power and respect so she's more likely to say yes cause she feels respected and considered, remember, a little kindness can go quite a ways.... oh yeah, and begging too.Weedguru Caro wrote:Uh oh guys, I have a problem.
I found out today that my roomate is a loud, obnoxious sorority girl, and so are all her friends...who occupy the room entirely too often for my liking...it's pretty annoying when you're all high and you're busted in on by loud, gossipy...gossipers, that only talk about fashion, asses, who looks good without makeup on in the morning, and drinking.Unfortunately at 22 I seem to have a lot more maturity, want for privacy and complexity of thought than my young roomate, who also listens to horrible shitty music.
Since I am paying 2 grand, I am considering asking her to limit the constant visiting to certain days or hours or something - is that cool, you think? Considering I moved into her space?

You have the same rights as her. You are both paying for the room, and I doubt she would put up with you having people over if the tables were turned. I say sit her down and have a talk with her. When I first moved into the dorms I had problems with my roommate and finally we sat down and talked and actually we ended up having a great time together afterwards. My vote it deal with it now rather than later.
