I don't like to smoke my bowls down all the way to pure ash, so in the past, I had trouble gfetting all the partially burnt product out of my bowl, but the built-in poker on the Kashtray really does the trick.
Thanks for the replies. I guess there are some other options out there, though I think using paper plates sounds like a fire waiting to happen.

I usually smoke at or near my desk so whenever I need to cash a bowl, I have a drawer I pull out, inside is a plastic bag that I ash into. I either hit the bowl right into the plastic or hit it into my palm then blow or tap it onto the plastic. I also keep extra bowls and pipes in there.

I just buy Clipper lighters. The flint part that you roll back to spark it, is detachable with maybe an inch long, thin plastic piece going downwards into the lighter. I use this for the same purpose as the stick on that kashtray thing, just scrape it into the ashtray.
