Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Drinking and driving is very different from driving drunk. I have on many occasions drove with somebody who was drinking earlier or drinking while driving. And never had a single problem. Drive jus as good sober or better. But driving pissed drunk is a whole nother story.

And smoking and driving is nothing.
I agree with you that Driving after a pint or two is COMPLETELY different than driving while completely bladdered but i feel i must disagree with you about people drive just as well while their drinking (but not drunk). To me a beer inside you while driving is still a beer that shouldnt be inside you while driving. Although you are entitled to your opinion.

Tell that to the judge when you run over the 10 year kid who was walking home from the corner store.

To be fair if you've only done it a few times its not very likely u would of had a problem. I could never justify driving drunk.Id rather spend £10 spent on a taxi and get home safely (or walk if im skint) than get in a car and drive home and risk takin someones life. (Isnt it funny how the drunk driver hardly ever dies. anyone ever noticed that?)

Its not up to me to judge you and judge how you go about your everyday life. Thats a task for the courts when you get caught driving drunk.

I've heard that the reason why the drunk driver doesn't die or get injured badly (majority of the time) is because his body is so relaxed from his drunken state. Their body is like a ragdoll, it absorbs the shock better. Have no idea if this is true or a myth or whatever.

Shit, To be honest ive drove with someone who was drinking 100's of times and have never once been pulled over or had a problem. You jus have to know your limits.

I personally have never drove drunk but have high on many occasions.

Sometimes walking home isnt the smartest idea around here.

And sometimes taking a cab isnt because of everybodys broke, And also many cab drivers jack drunk custo's.

People can say what they want and feel how they want, But i feel drinking to a point and driving isnt a huge risk. As long as your not to impared. If the rooms spinning and your stumbling around and mumbling you shouldnt drive.

Yah, you feel like a bum after you crash your car because of drunk driving. And, for instance, having one beer and driving doesn't make it harder to drive or make you more dangerous for others in any way. Like BG said, there's a limit. The trouble is, that limit is not always easy to recognize. When I know I'm gonna get drunk (on a saturday for example) I just don't take my car. Fuck that, it's not worth the risk. Too much of a gamble and you don't win much.

Exactly.

Having a beer or a couple(depending on your tollerance) dosent effect your driving in any way. It would affect you jus as much as driving sober.

I admit the limit is not always easy to reconize.

ok just to clarify, having a few drinks and driving is fine as long as you are under the legal limit. this limit has been set for a reason. if you are over this you are unfit to drive and therefore dangerous
