im waiting for each day to finish,
as hope for abrighter future continues to diminsh,
lacking the skills,
to balance my life between fun and bills,
cos i love to joke,
i love to toke,
but i cant seem to help been constantly broke,
this system im in must be designed to choke,
the souls potential,
the methods they use are strongly effectual.

its all about money here,
looking good and drinking beer,
and if you are lacking the cash,
with the wrong face and a inability to dress flash,
then youre in trouble,
cos this environment will burn your foundations to rubble,
by use of tax,
witheld facts,
and the difference put in place between whites,yellows and blacks.

even when im working full time,
every month i could reproduce this ryme,
detailing my lament,
of this country where i paid to be sent.

the rich get richer, the poor stay poor,
a misallocation of wealth exists for sure,
learn at school that happiness can only be bought,
cos we have no lessons of humanity been taught.

so its no surprise,
when i open my eyes,
and see,
all this shit thats getting to me.

the dicks in charge,
with their tax fuelled salaries criminally charged,
want us to produce and consume,
to the extent of welcoming our own doom,
even if for every pound we earn and spend we release one more polluting fume.

maybe i was born in the wrong era,
cos my distaste for the modern western way grows clearer,
with the cost of living and the taxation,
its hard to find a place and time for total relaxation,
al li can do is do my best to get by,
its costing me too much to even get high......................
