Pipe maintenance

So my pipe is pretty much pitch black on the inside and I use my bowl for quite a few things... It's an absolute bitch to get it off most of the time. What kinds of things would be good to clean the threads so the bowl comes off easier?

Heat it up first... run ur righter on the bottem of the bowl to loosen the resin a bit.

i usually put like an inch of water in a pot and then boil it and put my bowl in there. then take it out and scrape it with like and unfolded paper clip. but sometimes that doesnt get it all out so then i put it in the freezer for like 15 minutes and scrape it again and bang out all the rest into my palm. that does the trick for me.

some alchohol and warm water or just smoke till it wont smoke no more

rubbing alcohol or fingernail paint remover works well also. then rinse it out with high pressure water. hope this helps

I clean all my bongs and pipes by putting them in boiling water with lemon juice, alot, and a little bit of salt. If you don't have lemon juice use something that's just as acidic (don't know if I spelled it right) like rubbing alcohol. After boiling it for 10 to 20 minutes take it out and rinse it under cold water to get all of the nasty resign from the boiled water off. Then after its cooled down start scraping. I also found that instrument snakes, like one from a clarinet, is perfect for getting those hard to reach places in pipes and bongs.

just dont use soap or water....a little polish remover and a wash towel does the trick....(soap or water can stay on and fuck up the smoke)

good idea with the lemon juice and the instument cleaner, cleaning my pipe can be a bish somtimes it has swirled glass

boil boil boil. Put your pipe ina pot of boiling water with a bit of salt and itll come out shiny and new. (done it a few times and every time it works like a charm) [/i]
