hey guys,

i smoke quite a bit of weed a week. probably not that much compared to some people in here, but it's just how it is. anywho, i've been going out with my girlfriend for about 6-7 months now, and we are kinda serious but i get totally and completely paranoid about her and other guys. if anyone has seen HUMAN TRAFFIC, they will know what i mean, i go through hell. i just change whenever she goes out with boy mates, whenever i see any of her ex boyfriends, how the sex is, etc, and it's really starting to fuck me around.

i am not a hundred percent certain it is the weed, it may just be because i love her too much to let her go and the simple thought of her with someone else kills me emotionally, but i don't know. does anyone have any advise for me, coz it's really getting beyond a joke.

i only tend to get paranoid when i'm stoned, when i'm sober i'm fine.

as for your problem dude, you need to be a trusting partner in order for a relationship to work. my girl often goes out with her guy friends, most of which i would class ten times the person i am and it doesn't bother me in the least. just trust the relationship and your girl. plus your relationship is really in its early stages so give it time for the trust to develop. let us know how it goes

if not i wouldn't say there's much to worry about. i've dealt withmore than my share of paranoid boyfriends and theres not usually anything to worry about. if you're really worried about it then talk to her about it. i know whenpeople say "just talk about it" you just automatically think it wouldbe awkward to approach her about it but just try it. i don't know your girlfriend so she might be the type to get offended and think you just plain don't trust her, so don't take my advice and approach her about it if you think there's a good ahcne she'd react like that.
...... i just completely lost my train of though...

although all the responses i have received are really great and have given me something to think about, i feel the need to say thank you flynn, you have really kept me sane over this by posting this dude. you've really given me something to consider and as you are a guy with a girl, who goes out with other guys as friends, you are someone i can relate to.

bro, you really need to chill out with being paranoid about your girlfriend. being jealous and obsessive is really not cool. its nothing to do with the weed, its just you being insecure with yourself. the best way to handle things is to not get your emotions tangled up with just one girl. let her be your main girl if you are really into her and get yourself other girls on the side.

what gets me is how guys always get possessive over their women?? there's nothing wrong with your girl having guy friends or generally speaking to other guys. remember this, if a girl shows interest in other guys or another guy comes along and takes away your girl, then that girl is not for you and that other guy did you a big favour.

anyone who has random sex with someone then blames it on alchohol is bullshitting you. girls always use that i was drunk excuse. the point i'm trying to make is people have sex if they wanna have sex and its nothing to do with being talked into it by someone else or being under the influence. ask yourself this ..would you fuck a man in the ass if you were drunk or under some kinda of fucked up substance??? no i don't think so, and neither would you allow a man to bang you in the ass while your totally trashed unless you wanted him to. if your girlfriend is gonna have sex with someone else then thats her choice, why are you gonna try to cling on to someone who could potentially have sex with someone else?? if she does then she aint for you if she doesn't then she is for you. don't try to fight it just let nature takes its true course
