What's a good poem?

For English our project at the moment is to get a poem and recite it then learn it off by heart and peform it. I never read poems or books unfortunately; I know I should but I just don't. (who else is like that here?)
I was wondering if you had any recomendations for me on which poem to do?

Sensai, I know you are very into reading and stuff. Could you give me a good poem?

Why not take a look at the stoner poems and you'd probably find the poem easier to learn because its about something that your interested in. Just make sure you give credit where its due thats all

Do a haiku, that way you only gotta learn three lines. And your teacher might be impressed you know what a haiku is.

the other nite me and my friend made up this poem about one of his mates (i hate him personaly)

'there once was a gimp named rob
up her arse he would shove his nob
then one day he streched his skin
proberly cus he is quite slim'

you have to know him to get it really, basicly he loves anal and is a fat cunt with strech marks. not going to win any awards but oh well, we found it funny
