Sealing Bongs

Hey!
I've just got some more weed for a break in my exams and i went back to my old bong after several weeks of non-use. I think some bits need re-sealing and i'm wondering what is best. I was considering blu-tac for the down-pipes to the bottle, but is it suitable for the bowl to the pipe, or would it give off bad fumes? My bong is just plastic and metal for the bowl. It's just i can't really think of what to use out of house-hold materials. My dad has a hot-glue gun, would that be a good idea or would that heat up too much aswell?

when i make my home made bongs i always use chewing gum or bluetac to seal it both work well but blue tac is best as it can be remoulded hope that helps!

I tried making a new bong a few days ago...I was already stoned and made the hole for the downpipe a little too big. Not too big as tho its bigger than the pipe, but it's not airtight.

Usually when I make my bongs I make the hole about 3/4 the size of the pipe then jam it in there real hard. This one tho, I tried to seal it with blu tack (it's actually this yellow shit - same purpose) but it wont seal airtight..

really? i've never had any trouble with blu tac....sure it doesn't make for an attractive design but it does the job. you can also use a silicone gun to seal your down pipe on the outside or use a shit load of duct tape or something (pretty messy process).

my blu tac melts to easy. if you're going to use blu tac i would use the white one it seals better.

you could do all of those, but have ya ever thought of ummmmm, i dunno........ buying one for instance. it saves time, effort, arsing around, gets ya tokin alot faster, they're made properly, and they save on posts that just don't stop going on about blue tac and silicon.

erh...we have a real bong, we just forget it

and besides that bong is getting boring , so i thought why not be a bit creative and put some effort in making this unique bong

but im still wondering if drilling the holes thru the glass with a very thin drill is gonna work

any ideas on how to keep the bottle from breaking?
