how long till color changing glass starts to change colors?

if you put it over black and see the colors...then when it gets filled with resin you'll see all the colors and such.

is it a heat sensitive peice. that would be cool. but kinda usless. when you put it over black, if you look real close, you should see how it will fill in. my friend got this pipe, we put it over black (as instructed and as we also did at the shop) and saw the colors. the more we smoke the more it fills in. tyr smoking more hahaha. c ya

I think mainly the colour changing is effected by the resin left over from smoking...a few small sessiosn on any glass pipe and you should see a major difference..

i have one, the resin does it, i've filled the bitch with resin, n ive seen it change. it's pretty sweet man, just keep smokin.

maybe just useless to post in this old dead topic, but hey, could be useful to others with the same question...

FOCUS: Since the pipe was a bubbler, the part underwater took FOREVER to even begin to change, like smoking 200 times to see any change... but yeah, its the resin that does it. My advice is not to buy a color changing bong/bubbler. Pipes are OK, but anything with water.. meh

Mine changed as I smoked, but even after I scraped it and gave it an alcohol bath the glass that had been clear stayed yellow-ish; now it is turning orange-ish after being cleaned. But I don't think they change too much; it is mostly the resin that makes it change, and when you scrape it you see little difference in color.

well, its the resin that changes it, so it really depends on how much u smoke. my bros new pipe only took about a week and a half to change. (we smoke like 3 times a day every day though). and if u clean all the resin out, u get to start all over!
