Hookah help.

Well, it's my first time at a hookah, It's a miny one, hopefully I'll post it up tomorow. Well, I bought a bag of the smoking charcoal stuff you use, so I juss broke a piece off and put it in the bowl and tried to light it like that.. are you supposed to gring it finely up then pour it in? I used weed cuz I didn't know how, so it's all good : D

just use weed, the charcoal is to keep that "shisha" shit burning but it doesnt concern us stoners

my friends mom went to israel and when she came back she had a 4 person hooka and we all smoked sisha together.. and my friend asked to keep it and we smoked weed out of it all the time. he started to sell and the cops found out and raided his room, confiscating the hooka and a bunch of other shit.

first, mix the weed with the shisha, since the shisha will slow down the burning process, and put it in the bowl.

second, take a piece of aluminum foil and wrap it over the bowl (shiny side down). then poke about 10 little holes in it with a pin, so the heat can go thru.

if u have the "three kings" brand charcoal (circular disc) then it is quick light. all u do is go outside (b/c it smells bad for the first 20 seconds) and hold the lighter on it, it will crackle and stuff, once the first thin layer is consumed (u'll know, about 20 secs) take it back in and put it on top of the foil. (this coal is HOT so use a fork or spoon to carry it)

it will take about 4-6 deep inhales for the smoke to start coming good... then u'll be set.

EDIT: this way will work for just shisha alone too... and maybe just weed also, never tried tho, but i see no reason why not
