What does everyone think about Ralphy running again ? I put this in general .... so that it didnt turn into an "I hate america" or "I hate crazy hippies", or "I hate this and that and everything else" thread. So .... yeah, why do you guys think that he's running ? Is it good or bad for the dems ?

Moderate with Marijuana? The FUCK does it matter, it will take all of Congress to legalize it, not just the president. Plus legalize is overrated, hyped up by n00bie potheads who can't except social laws as they are.

and wow that was classic. Legalizing weed is 'overrated?' I don't really see it that way- more like victimless crimes NEED to be legalized for the sake of freedom

The reason I dont want Nader to run for president is mostly because of last election- Gore would have won if Nader didn't run for presidency, and the same thing might happen this election with Kerry

1. If the president believes it should be so, do you not think that congress will follow his lead, atleast in thinking ? Look at this war. Congress voted for that, even though now a bunch of them are saying that they didnt want to go to war.

2. If a president is moderate with marijuana, do you not think that he would be moderate with other issues. There are a few that are VERY important to me, such as medicare, abortion, gay rights, illegal immigration, religous freedom in schools and government, the environment ... etc etc etc etc.

3. The last statement that you made, is a blatent and wrong generalization. Ralph Nader isnt some noobie pothead, niether are any of the hundreds of thousands of people who work very hard as part of grassroots organizations trying to free people from the governments discrmination and intolorance. Legalizing marijuana is a fucking medical issue, not just some anti social kids school project. I dont think that wanting to save someones life, or make it 100 % better is a social law issue. Marijuana is not a socal law issue. Its a monetary issue.
