Kweli or Mos def?Who be tha best?

Post by PepeLePew »

I been pondering this the last few days. Having beeen hittin the sk, and listening to both the Black on both sides album and train of thought nice and loud, I been wondering what other people thought, as I am a relative newcomer to the hiphop scene. From what I have hear Kweli is amazing, but Mos def also go this own unique style??Who the best??
Ps. Herad about that Kwelity album and got a song of it I think called 'good to you'seems cool.Need the rets of the tracks???

I prefer mos def, I think he has a great rhyme scheme and great overall hip-hop style not to mention that he hosted Russel Simmons Def Poetry and is also a great actor.

Yeah I found it and was surprised no one had posted in it so I bumped it. Black star was a great album, did you see them play together on Dave Chapelle's Block Party? That was a great performance.

tough question
i would have to lean towards talib... but perhaps i am biased as i discovered him first. his lyrics are second to none!
mos is amazing too... he is incredibly diverse and unique in what he produces!!.
definately check out the blackstar album... is an awesome album

i think lyrically none of the new mainstream cats like 50 can come close to the mans from blackstar. personally i prefer mos def just for his sound. they both flow immensely.
