61205 is a super-dooper computer (next generation of super-computer) capable of providing, with 100% accuracy, the result of future events based on knowledge of prior events. In order to test the 61205 (and demonstrate the apparently determinist nature of the universe) various people were given a banana. A few seconds before each person received the banana 61205 reported (with unfailing accuracy) whether or not the person would proceed to eat the banana. Amazing! Or perhaps not...
There is a problem. 61205 proudly displays its answer in large flashing letters on a screen along with a loud digital super-dooper-confident voice announcing the answer. Unlike the other test subjects Peter happened to see and hear 61205 declare, "Peter WILL EAT the banana!" (as a side note: it wasn't that difficult a prediction since Peter was feeling very hungry and simply loves bananas.) However, learning of this "revelation" Peter stops peeling the banana. With every intention of exposing the mechanical contraption for the scam it really is he refuses to eat the banana.
Lights flash and 61205 suddenly reverses its prediction. With unfaltering confidence 61205 declares, "Peter WILL NOT eat the banana!"
(Uh oh, should a reversal of the original announcement be allowed?)
Well, upon learning this Peter once again returns to peeling the banana with every intention of eating it. 61205 changes its "mind" yet again declaring, "Peter WILL EAT the banana!"
Backwards-and-forwards it goes.
(Hmm, seems like the future wasn't so certain.)
After thirty-eight hours of this nonsense Peter rightly gets annoyed and throws the now-mouldy banana at 61205 and has a well-deserved nap. Incidentally, a few seconds before Peter discarded the banana (and without much surprise) 61205 correctly announced Peter would not eat the banana.
If something predicts the future you can't know what it predicts like that, it would just be silly. Even if you proved it totally wrong it/they could turn around at the end and say they knew you'd try to proove it wrong so they told you what you needed to hear to do what it thought you would. If you get me. Like that woman off the Matrix.
You people voted for Hubert Humphrey and you killed Jesus
Time travel does not exist, we only think that it does because we ourselves are all so dependant upon TIME to keep track of our schedules, but when you really dig down to the bottom of the bucket time is only a measurement and not an object that we are able to manipulate
And if you manipulate your time and not everyone elses at once your time will be off and you'll be unsynchronized with the right time. And i meant that you couldnt physically rewind yourself into the past, i didnt mean that you couldnt sit there with a wall clock and spin the arms around, anyone could do that
I'm not mentioning anything physical. I'm refering to preception. The mind has little control over time, for example by keeping your mind bust, time speeds by. PRECEPTION. My whole theory is a spirituality/mind thing
