Just because you happen to study different views of reality, there really isnt that large of a correlation. How about this? I have a hell of a lot more respect for dogs than I do humans. I mean the only reason I would find it wrong to kill anything is they have a substanital advanced cosncious and subconscious. That's why I'm pro-choice and pro-infanticide.

I would say its more wrong for humans just cuz were more civilized, tis kinda hard to say ya know ? like im not tryin to sound cocky but were just cocky i mean shit, we save em from fires feed em shelter em ya know we are more advanced, plus animals go on killin sprees and would harm innocent children which has happen, but so do humans go killin innocent kids, so eh, killin animals is fucked up, but i cant stop eaitn meat tho, Food chain or cycle or whatever

That's way too much reading for me, so I'll just sit back and say that babies and retards don't deserve to die. Seriously though, babies have a whole life ahead of them, and retards shouldn't be looked down upon just because they are different from "normal" people.

Just because something has the potentiality to become a full entity with a consciousness of normal capacity, doesnt give it the right to life of one that has reached that stage. Technically every cell in your body has the potentiality, but do you cry everytime your skin sheds?

Why not? We easily justify torture for beings "different" than us. In many cases a hog may have more intellectual and emotional capacity than a human vegetable.

So what are you really saying, that every human- fetuses, infants, the mentally debilatated, people in comas - has a soul and therefore its morally wrong to hurt/kill them? That's pretty shaky ground for such an important moral conviction.

We can discuss other philosophical issues but I'm trying to make a point here.
