for the people that got a drivers Li. u got ur permit the same day u went to the DMV. then how long did it take for them to give u the road test ? weeks months and how long it took for ur license.
IM gettin my permit sept 8th [b-day] would u know how long it'll take for my Drivers Li.

i dunno but in arizona u get ur permit at 15 and 7 months
then u gotta wait 5 month and get ur DL at 16

since your from ny...i live close from there so i think our laws are the same or at least similar....after you take the drivers permit writen test at 16 and pass you get your permit...this allows you to drive with anyone older than 18 or 21 not sure....you get your drivers license on your 17th birthday...

side note...if you got your permit later than your 16th birthday...like if you got it at 17 you just have to wait 6 months to get your license

ok, are you 16 or 17...and do you have your permit?? if your 17 you have to wait 6 months to get your license
