Plants and Music??

Is there any truth to the idea that plants like music? Ive heard from people before that plants will grow better when music is being played. is this just hippies spreading peace and love or is there an actual correlation? If so where can i find more info on this topic??

i would love to believe that human/plant interaction on other than physical planes is possible...you should try to dig out some research on the matter, mate. I for one would be intrigued to learn more...especially as I have recently got into gardening. as an experiment, before i sew these cornflower blueball seeds in front of me, i will sleep with them under my pillow for a few nights...
