Can you grow 2 plants in 1 pot?

I have like 4 plants in one pot and I plan on getting rid of two of them and I wanna know if I can grow the other two in there or do I grow only one?

Hi there.

I know next to nothing about growing. But I would say that would have to be a huuuge pot or the answer is going to be no.
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.
