I enjoyed this. Mainly because of the grotesque depictions of the realities of warfare. The acting and script were decent. But...after investigating other sources for information regarding the event the film was based upon, Black Hawk Down, becomes, more a spastic descent into patriotic bullshit, than a realistic expression of what transpired in Mogadishu. If seen as an action film, and it dropped the suggestion of showing what happened in reality, i would give it 7/10. However, when it presents itself as a piece of history, its so wildly slanted towards making the US soldiers seem like heroes, without getting into ANY investigation as to WHY THE FUCK THE US WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, that I would give it 3/10.
