Super Budget Grow Box

Specs:

Dim: 80cm x 35cm x 45cm (31 x 13 x 17 inches)
Light: 3 x 105W CFL lamps; two yellow (2700) and one blue (6400)
Ventilation: intake - 2x 80mm computer coolers; exhaust - 120mm cooler; each cooler is on 12V

First of all I made a 'skeleton' using wooden bars, then strengthen the construction.




After that I made the light unit and fixed it to the skeleton




The reflector is an A2 paper sheet, with 2 layers of aluminium foil glued to it




I made the walls from cardboard boxes wich I bought at the post office, pasted them over with a.foil and made all the needed wholes for coolers, then I fitted them to the skeleton using small nails and glue-tape








The last thing to do was putting in the lamps.. and vu-a-la!






Then finish with sticky paper (I'm not sure this is a right word for this thing) black wood colored



And here is my girl PowerAfrica by seedsman seeds - total yield - 150g of pure dry highest quality bud and 50g of small buds and leaves

1) 2 lights at 2700K and just 1 at 6500? shouldn't it be the other way since vegetative growth lasts more than flowering?
2) If you made the box a little larger couldn't the plant be larger,so you would get more buds?from what i know it has the potential to grow larger.
3)If i made it a bit larger,to fit 2 plants(40x80x90 lets say) should i use stronger lamps like 200-250W and put them on the horizontial side(yours is the 40cm and mine would be the 80cm)

1.) Veg is only longer than flower if you want a large plant.
2.) Sure
3.) As long as it doesn't present a fire hazard. Don't use aluminum foil, though.

3.) I was planning on using 2 Fluorescent lamps,one for veg(blue spectrum) and one for flowering(red spectrum) at 250W. From what i know FL don't produce much heat so there wouldnt be a fire hazard. And why not aluminium?

Flourescents can still produce enough heat to start a fire, especially with this much cardboard. Aluminum isn't reflective enough (something like 70% from memory): flat white paint or mylar will do the job much better. Aluminum can also create hotspots since it crinkles so easily, burning areas of your plant.

Alright...understood. What about the fans though? he says he used 2 for inhaust and 1 for exhaust. I see the one fan on the bottom and the 2 fans on the top of the box,should't it be the other way round so that the exhaust fan is on top(where the air is hotter and has to get out of the box)?

Yes, it should be the other way around; well spotted. Exhaust goes on the top, intake on the bottom.
