Help Me improve the Weedguru Front End.

Waffles kindly donated a template for a new front end for the site...An area where hardly any of you venture, but still, one which I am itching to blossom into something easier on the eye and more regularly updated.

I hope you can see from the pics, that I seem...ummm...some way off bridging the divide between the Plans and my own DreamWeaver menaderings.

Not sure how to add a tint factor to a HEX DECIMAL colour. For instance,
I need the HEX DECIMAL code for R-85, G-176, B-71, TINT-7%
and R-85, G-176, B-71, TINT-32%
That would help out...

The next major problem, is how the fuck do I get rid of that massive white space to the right of the page??? Its not part of the table i created on DW. Not sure where it came from...or how to get rid of it./...or even if its just my monitor playing the fool, sonted off these weed clouds.

Can anyone help?

to change the colour of the white space dont you need to either make the table automatically fit to screen width,
or change background/page options to the right colour.
the colour tints i dont have a clue

when you folks click this link: http://weedguru.com/newfrontend.html does the top banner stretch across the whole screen of your browser??? Or only half away across, leaving the other half an equal sized blank white space??? (I don't mean the emtpy spaces BELOW the top banner...)

anywho, uhm its all aligned to the left side atm. I believe, if i remember correctly, in dreamweaver... there is an option for liquid layouts, or fixed, etc. By the looks of it, you have it fixed. Try liquid or hybrid perhaps.


PS. Dan, I think I wrote down the hex numbers on the layout right under the RGB part :p
