Cheating is wrong, it doesn't matter what way you look at it, you are breaking the trust of someone you have encouraged feelings from. Yes, it is a primordial urge for a man to want to sow his seed in as many fields as possible, in order to continue the human race, but in this day and age with the development of a moral coding system and emotions more refined than those possessed by primitive man, things are much more complicated and should be handled in a more delicate manner. If you are willing to cheat on someone, surely that would suggest you shouldnt be with them, as if you truly loved someone, then you wouldnt even contemplate for a second bringing them unnecessary pain, and rather than betraying someone and breaking a sacred trust, would it not be better to just break it off and then pursue your new object of desire? Surely in this day and age we can control our sexual urges and stop trying to make excuses for why we 'cant' (dont want to) control them. Is self control not one of the things that separate us from other animals?

must agree with rasta, and gene or no gene, the video sed its all about self control, some have it and some dont.
just cos someone is geneticaly predefined to cheat does not make it right, or pardonable, if a paranoid skytzophrenic killed or assaulted someone in a fit, they are still to be punished despite being geneticaly predispositioned to aggressive behaviours.
but.... if a cheating gene is present... this does support my idea that a large portion of the human race should be culled, those with poor genes that are crippling the human gene pool aswell as the modern economy, cos if it is a testable gene, we be able to identify them easier, lol

yea not bad, things looked a bit more interesting again round here to thought id pop by and rear my ugly head but I will try not to steer this topic off its intended course and revert back to its original intention. I like how you bore likeness between mental illness and cheating in that its still followed with punishment despite diminished responsibility, I wish I had thought of it to be honest Culled might be a bit extreme though How would you go about doing that? Kill them off? Or sterilise them? The latter would probably be slightly more humane though I think it'd be stepping on the toes of human rights activists all over the show...

yea, it is way over-the-top of an idea, but seriously, i think alot of todays problems are because of over population and an abundance of unfavourable genes trapped in our gene pool by our health care....
its extreme, but a mass culling, or would euphanasia be a better term?
well lets not cover it up, a mass genocide i believe would do this world good, and why not target those with disfavourable DNA?

then again i cant really say much as my brother is one of those people.... oh wells i dont like him that much anywho lol

back to cheating tho, its wrong, and totaly within seld-control, so i dont think this gene should be a valid excuse under any circumstances..

it is pure selfishness... and i admit i have been at fault... been caught...
it is an incredibly horrible feeling to know that in that moment of selfishness
that you have causes someone you love so much to be in so much heartache...
it is a humbling, humiliating, and embarrassing time.
