Well, I can't put them in any order, but my favorite STONER movies that have marijuana explicitly involved in them are...

Harold and Kumar (sequel as well)
Half Baked
Cheech and Chong (I still have to see a few of them, but Up in Smoke in particular)
Pineapple Express
Grandma's Boy
Dazed and Confused
Detroit Rock City
Friday (two sequels as well, Next Friday and Friday after Next)
How High
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (have not seen this in a lonnng time)
Clerks (sequel as well)

As for movies that are drug based, outside of marijuana, a couple come to mind...

I know there are PLENTY more, but my mind can't come across to thinking what they are...

The only drug-related type movie I can think of that you haven't listed was Bad Lieutenant starring Harvey Keitel.

Another favorite of mine that has a bit of drug use in it (mushrooms) was Natural Born Killers.

You should definitely check out Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny! As for American Gangster, I found it to be a long and boring movie. I love long movies but this movie couldn't hold my interest. I saw Super High Me and it was okay, worth the one time watch at least. Never saw Bong Water.

wierdsville, its some canadian movie about 2 junkies and its kinda funny but kinda sad n scary at the same time.

Yeah man, I've heard about Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny. Have yet to see it, but will definitely keep my eye out for it!

Also, harold & kumar, 28 days, I don't think I've ever seen the full movie. This is more of a rehab movie... and Taking woodstock as the title says, about woodstock. I think that's all I can think of right now...

Oh!! There is a fair bit of marijuana use and dealing in a movie I completely forgot about. It's called "The Wackness" with Ben Kingsley. It was one of those movies that slipped through the mainstream cracks and got lost in the shuffle of blockbusters. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this movie if you love weed, and 90's hip hop and rap.

The best movies that I've seen that is drug related..

Requiem for a dream... never seen a movie like that which left such a big impact on me..
Fear and Loathing.. although the book is way better and it's a little over rated, the movie is still amazing and top notch
Blow.. it's just a great movie with an actual emotional standpoint like requiem for a dream
Pulp Fiction.. it's an extremely good movie, but not my favorite
The basketball diaries.. really good movie dealing with heroin/drug addiction in high school kids and how it changed them
American Gangster.. This is actually probably my favorite movie on the best drug related movie list for me. It's just overall action packed and extremely entertaining..

The beautiful ordinary (aka Remember the daze).. it's basically a modern day dazed n confused, not as good because it's like a remake, but I really liked it

^^ Yeah I ended up watching Spun last night for the first time... pretty good movie. Nothing can really seem to compete with Requiem though!

I also ended up watching Basketball Diaries and Humboldt County yesterday... Both are drug/weed related movies as well.

Since I first made this thread, I've also seen Trainspotting, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny and Super High me.

I love drug based movies. I've enjoyed each of these movies in their own way. It seems I still have a few to check out. Not many though. Keep the suggestions up peeps, if there are any more.
