What unusual animal would you like having as a pet if you could?

Since I've been a kid, I've dreamed of having a trained monkey for a pet. Would be so cool having him do everything for me and whatnot. And mine would be toilet trained too.

Other than that I've wanted a chipmunk and a raccoon too....they're just so damn cute!

A squirrel. I've always wanted a squirrel as a pet. They had a pretty cool looking one at an exotic pet store i went to a while back but it was super expensive and you need a permit to keep them. It wasn't a regular squirrel it black and dark red, real crazy looking.

hahaha too awesome. My cat is useless... he just lays there and makes me pet him, and when I'm laying down he tries to lick me... Although he does make a good pillow.

My friend used to have flying squirrels which were super cool. I kind of like the idea of a small animal that can crawl up on your shoulder and stuff but it's kind of creepy too...there's a reason they're called rodents. o_O

What I really really want though is an octopus. They're really intelligent and so cool and expressive with all those arms. Just look up pet octopuses on youtube they're really cool!

I've always wanted to have a raven as a pet. I know they're loud but they're so cool looking. Ravens can also be trained to mimic sounds and words. I'd love to have one well trained and loveable enough that he'd be happy as pie to sit on my shoulder while I surf the Interwebz or go about my daily routine. I'd also like to have him trained well enough to NOT poop all over my shoulder and back.

Are you talking about sugar gliders? Those things are pretty cool. When i worked in the zoo they had a few that they would keep up by the front desk.

I don't think octopuses aren't all they're cracked up to be. I've had an unfriendly run in with one in the wild before. I guess if I had a saltwater tank I'd be tempted to get one...saltwater tanks are a bitch to maintain though

if I had the money and space I'd go for a basin with Japanese Spider Crabs, also known as 'crabzillas' in it.
