Well, after weeks of discussing my setup and finally finishing it, i am happy to show you my grow from start to finish PLUS it is on a student budget. I have done alot of my research on the Cannabis Culture Magazine forums where they have excellent info for growing.
All i need is a bit of your help, feedback and whatever throughout the course of my first grow

Heres a graph of the space that i will grow it in. Its in a closet in my bedroom and i am planning to maybe grow 2-3 plants. Its a 2x2x5 foot space. I painted it on nice smooth cardboard with a flat white latex anti-mould paint. It worked great after putting 3 nice coats. I also have a fan that is overhead right above the lights mounted on the far wall (the pics dont show it) but it does move alot of air with ease with 3 settings.
Lights
I currently have 3 lamps that will have a 42 Watt CFL @ 2700 lumens on each of them going. Theyre GE's Energy Smart. 1 of em is warm white and 2 are cool white. That equals to about 2100 lumens per square foot. and with the space being a tad smaller than 2x2, it should be at least that number. And i have 2 13 watt straight CFLs desk lamps that gives 700 lumens.(but i dont know what to do with it) Once i get more funding in the next few weeks, (or when flowering will start) I will be able to add two more 2700 lamps to the mix. And yes, i did research HPS's and MH, byt I think wed all love to have HPS's goin when were students. heh. Also i have a humidity gauge which is in blue in the pics.
Obviously the camera made the space look alot darker, but rest assured, perty bright with the flat white paint.
TIMER
I bought a power bar with 8 plugs that has a built in timer. It is pretty sweet, and safe.
SEEDS
I got the seeds July 7th and started the germinating process that same night. I finally went with the NL5 X Skunk #1. I got a vial that had 12 seeds when theres usually 10. And they were all this nice brown colour so young, yet full of prosperity. I got them from Crosstown Traffic in Ottawa. GREAT store if you're looking to grow or buy some nice pieces. They even mail to anywhere in Canada. (Valley Seeds)
SOIL + Plant food
Any particular soil mix i should have? I currently have Schultz Premium Potting Soil Plus* Premium blend of Canadian sphagnum peat moss, perlite, & organic materials enriched with Schultz™ slow-release plant food that feeds for up to 9 months and provides ideal growing conditions for indoor & outdoor potting needs. Thats the description, its a professional mix, but since theres slow release food, i will only be using it to grow the seedling in my little 3 inch Peat Pots. Again, once i get more funding, i will invest in a good mix once i repot them.
As for Plant food? I have researched alot of this site, but if anyone has any pointers that can give me id love to hear them. I am hoping to go as organic as possible. Any help with NPK levels and the sort would be a great help
ANY SUGGESTIONS, TIPS, ENCOURAGEMENT, WOULD BE a GREAT HELP to a fellow stoner that wants to grow his own, clean, selfindulging green and overgrow the govt!
