Indecisivness, maybe even not that

Post by sickkid90 »

I got a problem.. and its indecisivness... I will like something a lot for a short period of time.. say its astronomy... (true story)... and ill go out and buy a telescope from like.. Big 5... then a month or two later ill kinda lose interest in it... then ill go to like i unno go buy a metal detector... and ill lose interest....now i wanna buy a paint ball gun... but im worried that i wont like it and it will be wasted money...

and frankly these thougts that i wont wanna do something once i spend money on it... makes me not want to do anything at all..but its so boring.. especially right now during the summer

anyone has the same problem? or knows how i can help myself? im also a very nervous person even if i conciously dont think so.. but i know subconciously that i am.. especially since i always bite like the skin around my nails....

:?:

I truly have the same problem as you. When you indulge yourself, you then find that what you wanted was boring. What I like to do, instead of buying something immediately, is rent the object or use someone else's for a little while, then you can give it back with no loss of cash. And, if you decide to do it again, it is usually readily available. That's what I do at least, and it keeps a bit of change in my pocket :)

i think im gonna buy this paintball gun that i already tried out that my friend has, its a good gun in my opinion $50 some bucks, and ill see if i can get my brother involved because i think that i have these problems because no one else really enjoys these things like i do.. or they just dont really want to support it

ill talk to my brother tommorow or today w/e he comes home, maybe go paintballing with him this weekend

haha hope the paintball fun lasts longer than the astronomy does

i think you might have a lack of patience aswell... for example... astronomy takes a lot of planning and
patient waiting for things to occur correctly... maybe you need a hobby that continually produces results

it could be that... but also lack of support from my parents... and if i told that to my parents they would be shocked but its because they are not understanding the lack of support that i mean.... and by what i mean is support in like spirit, and acting like they actually give a shit about what i want to do.. nto just maybe helping me buy something or taking me somewhere, like i went to wal mart today and before we went i was like... mom can we go to wal mart? shes like why? im like... because i want to check out the paint ball guns? and she goes why? for what? and im like.. just to see because i wanna see what guns they have....

its like just show some fucking support for things i wanna do even if you dont like them or w/e... then they complain about me not doing anything and so on and so shit..

i have $41 that im gonna spend on a paint ball gun... and if my mom is like.. no or something... im seriously debating responding with "Mom...the fact of the matter is... this $41 bucks is gonna be spent... weather its on a paint ball gun... or marijuana.... its gonna be spent.. you decide"

edit: what a fag my brother, he just got home.. yesterday after i got bak from paintballing hes like... ya we shoudl go and get two guns and then maybe go out on the hills and play and im like ok cool

right now he gets home.. hes like hey.. im like hey.. tommorow i wanna go to walmart with you to buy a paint ball gun.. and hes all like thats not our priority right now.. so im like WTF???? you were jus saying yesterday...

"i was just sayin like that"

i FUCKING hate it when my family kids around like that... its not even fucking funny...once my dad told me he was getting me something really big for my birthday supposedly couldnt fit through the door... and i had been asking for a surf board for a couple months.... my birthday comes along and it was some science kit shit... normally i woulda been happy with what i got... but since he teased me like that i was pissed.... they can be so insensitive sometimes...

I got the same thing going with video games :p
Computer games don't affect kids. I mean, if Pac-Man had affected us as kids, we would all be running around darkened rooms, munching magic pills, and listening to repetitive electronic music.

I used to do that with video games, I have a shitload of games that I've hardly played.

Actually I've even got one game that I bought and never even played. What the hell is wrong with me.

If you want to start playing paintball and don't have a lot of money...then it's pointless because that is one damn expensive sport. It's just what everybody does...they waste money on something and then get bored of it so they buy something new. In a way it's good not even being able to keep your money unless it's for something important. (like weed..haha) Just don't waste your money on things that you want that day. Like I'll want a new skateboard one day, then in a couple days I'll just completely forget about it so I normally don't buy stuff unless I need it or really want it and know I'll be using it for a while.

best solution : buy weed! once you get bored of it, if you ever do (god forbid) itll be all gone by then, so you didnt waste your money :D

you're still just a kid.. wut did you say you were 15? You don't have any financial responsibilities yet, so just buy everything then sell it to some other kid when you get bored with it.

I think the whole world is kind of like that....everybody was going on about Katrina (and all that devestation), then it was 9/11, then it was the war in iraq, then it was hating bush/america, then it was global warming, then bush made a comeback and we hated him again....meanwhile everybody is still homeless in New Orleans (or atlesat the place that got hit with that flood) but we still just move on to something else that grabs our attention.

ya interesting comparisson, true, and ya im 16, but w.e lol frankly i can pass as a 12 year old to some people. I guess ill just keep the $60 for right now... and convert it to euro and then get drunk in Europe lolol i might get into Paint ablling next school year cuz ill havea job at this restaurant my bro works for (crap... hopfully i will at least) plus once (if i do) become a waiter they get so much money from tips it crazy

and on all that disaster stuff.. i find it funny how, right after the disaster America becomes "united" i bet people who would comit crimes dont (for a month or something) then once something else happens of equal or greater proportions we totally dismis the gravity of the last problem and its all pretty much back to normal
