I'm pretty sure everybody knows about the current situation developing between the US and Russia.

As an European citizen I feel fucking humiliated.

As if America can just 'decide' to put up a missile shield in our beautiful fucking union.

It's like two grown ups arguing over the head of a child, without giving the child a voice.

I've seriously had it with that fucking American (your gvmnt,not you guys) arrogance, stay in your own fucking country and stop screwing up the fucking world with your fucked up 'we will be the world leaders' attitude.

It's of course not only the American's fault, Russia's bitching about it too.

But then again the Americans said:

"Washington says it needs interceptor missiles in Europe to stop attacks by states like Iran or North Korea.

It hopes to build a radar station in the Czech Republic and to site interceptors in Poland.

Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski confirmed that Washington has approached Warsaw over the project and said: "We are now waiting for firm proposals."

It is very doubtful that elements of the national US missile defence system in eastern Europe were aimed at Iranian missiles

ya i agree with the worry about America instead of the rest of the world.... i dont like America for that reason....they get into other countrie's buisness.. you dont see the world coming to save america from its poverty but ya.. w/e

America doesn't want to be helped, that's the fucking issue man.

With them it's like "Okay,look, we are clearly the superpower on this little planet,so we interfere with everybody's business but we don't like outsiders coming into our country poking their noses into our way of leading it"

It's a one way deal, and I don't like that.

America needs to loosen up, start accepting the fact that if they continue on this way the world will turn against it one day, Europe won't keep on being America's bitch forever.

You can't justify America's current actions by saying Europe has done bad shit too. That doesn't make it acceptable.

Plus the USA is WAY worse about sticking its pud where it doesn't belong.

As an American I think that our current goverment is an embarresment. The president tries to create enemies outside of the country hide the problems with in our own borders. Im a pretty conservitive guy and I still disagree with the president on most of his actions. But most of the American people hate Bush just as much as people all over the world. Im hoping that in 2008 we will elect a president that can heal our relationship with the rest of the world. I would be interested to hear from people that dont live in America what wold be the best thing for my country to do to help its opionen around the world.

No, it doesn't and I wasn't inferring such. What I'm saying is, Europeans are in no position to judge or mouth off.

Do you realize how enormous previous empires were? Can you grasp how they got that way? I'm not sure we win the big 'pud sticking' award just yet.

Im an American and I agree with everything Flow said. Especially because I live overseas now, I see how America is. They're clearly violating sovereignty, and the government thinks it can police the world. Most Americans I know agree that our government is shitty and everyone despises us right now. I cant wait until that monkey Bush is out of office.

Agreed that the American government is ridiculous, but, as the Daily Show says, the Clusterfuck to the White House is underway. As long as Hilary Clit'ton isn't elected, I guess I'm cool with whatever. But, to get back on subject, it is a joke the way America conducts itself as the super-power of the world. Even if people accept it as so, how is the so-called "super-power" in trillions of dollars in debt, needing to borrow $2 billion per day to stay alive? Too puzzling...

(I believe it is $2 billion, if not, go ahead and correct me).
