Fucking narc of a brother
Okay normally I don't need help with anything, but this is getting to be too much.
My brother caught me smoking weed 2 years ago not long after I first started, and he threatened to tell my parents if I did it again. Well that kept me from smoking for a while, but that never lasts forever. At this point in my life I'm heavily into it. Not just weed anymore but a variety of uppers, downers, and hallucinogens. The freedom to do what I want to alter my own consciousness is an integral part of my perspective on life.
Well he started to get suspicious again a few weeks ago, he constantly asks about it, and he's always wondering what I'm doing on the Internet when I minimize shit. Before he ever caught me smoking he did find this website on my computer, and he's thinking I'm up to it again (and he's right).
The thing is, when I'm around anyone other than my brother, I don't try to hide my drug use at all. Pretty much everyone knows that I do. I wouldn't expect people to talk about me a lot when I'm not around, but I have a feeling he's hearing shit from other people, but there's no way for me to stop that now. I kind of don't know what to do about all this, he said he was going to tell my parents if he catches me doing it, but I know he won't ever catch me again. Now I'm just worried he'll tell them what he already knows anyway without catching me (basically he'd have no proof but he really doesn't need any).
He's a year older than me and he's moving out by the end of the summer. I haven't been caught doing anything since he first caught me two years ago, and I'm good enough now at avoiding getting caught that it's pretty much not an issue. But I can't get rid of his suspicions.
When I think about it I'm not that afraid of getting into shit with my parents, it will be a couple of weeks of bullshit and then they'll probably ease off. I'm just not exactly sure how to handle the situation from here.

Well if he's going to tell your parents then tell him that he needs to get a fuckin life and stop being such a suck up to your parents. What is he..18-19-20? if he hasn't done drugs then I'm guessing he's one of those kids that do everything right and tell your parents on a lot of shit you do (just like my 18 year old sister) Just talk to him saying "weed" isn't that bad but don't mention any other drugs.

Yeah I know I can't tell him about anything other than weed when to him weed is bad enough. He's 18, has never even had a sip of alcohol, I'm pretty sure he's never had sex, he really doesn't have much of a life. I'm seriously contemplating coming clean with him about weed and trying to explain it to him (I am extremely good at persuasion, and I might be able to talk him into being okay with weed), but it's kind of a last resort. Persuading him to be okay with weed would be the best way to resolve the whole situation, but if I don't convince him then I'll regret I ever brought the subject up because that'll be enough for him to snitch.
I personally recommend checking oneself for OCD at least once every 5 minutes.

lol your brother sounds EXACTLY like my sister, they're Even the same age too...The only time she ever leaves the house is if it is for school projects or to study with friends. The thing is, if he does snitch on you and you don't try to persuade him and tell him it's not bad then you might regret it.

Well if I knew he was about to tell them I'd tell him to hold the fuck up and I'd sit him down and lecture him. My brother knows I'm smarter than him, he's admitted that much, and even if he still doesn't like weed much after I talk to him I might be able to persuade him not to snitch as a matter of principle.

Slap him in the mouth, violence is bad but sometimes it just needs to be done. Especially when they're family members, that's a bitch. He's got the law and common moralities (i.e. drugz r teh bad omgzorz) against you so you can't convince him that drugs are good in any way. People don't like to budge. The only thing you can do is assert that the only person who makes YOUR choices is YOU and you won't stop driving your life path no matter what obstacles are in your way, including your brother.
On another note i'm fucking trashed, nursing a hangover from a 3 day drinking binge.

Well I really am tempted to talk to him, but it's an all or nothing shot, if he doesn't accept what I tell him then I'm caught. If I do talk to him about it, should I be authoritative or friendly? As in, should I be like "dude you aren't gonna tell them anything, it's no big deal let me handle my own shit" or like "man you know weed isnt that bad, i mean its healthier than a lot of other shit people do, and im not really affecting you or anyone else"?
Oh and just saw Beavis's post, so you're saying I should go with authoritative "this is my life man its not your shit to worry about"
