Questions for those with a multi chambered grinder..

I've got just a regular magnetic grinder without a catch. Is it really worth it to spend like 50 bucks on one that does have a catch? How much weed do you usually have to grind before you can use those crystals in a practical situation? Whoever owns these things, please post your thoughts and experience?

i was talking to my friend the other day and he said that for about ever 1/2 oz or so he gets a lill bit more than a bowl of kief(not sure if thats correct) but every one uses his grinder in our little group so alot of bud goes threw that thang.

I've got one, grinding up half an oz usually gets about half a cone.

I love mine, I usually wait until I've ground up roughly an oz worth and then pack a cone with just the crystals and it gets you FUCKED.

Mine only cost $30NZD ($20USD) though ;p it's really heavy duty and magnetic etc ;D

The time it takes for the kief to build up all depends on the amount of crystals on bud. If you really want to speed up the process you can push the weed against the screen once it's done grinding. That'll push some extre kief through.

Really as Greenthumb said depends on what weed you get. Me and my lady have been getting this awesome weed from somebody in her psych. course for months now and the crystals on the bottom chamber of our grinder are deliciously abundant. If you wait a long time and resist the temptation of just scraping it all and smoking it it;s waaay better. Delay of gratification, aye.

I love my multi-chambered grinder. I got it for 40 bucks USD, and I like it alot. Make sure you get a grinder with bigger holes, you can always turn it upside down if you need to grind the weed more, but weed won't get stuck in the top chamber. Also make sure you get one with a screen that goes all the way to the wall of the grinder, my friend's has a metal ring sorta, and then the grinder within that so it's not fully against the walls, and it really inhibits keif collecting.

I love my grinder.

i have this one and its fucken great. And like most guys said, after you put about a half in there you can start using the kief, but it all depends on how kiefy your bud is in the ffirst place.

i hear the best grinders you can get are the space cases, its actually from the guy you designed the first metal grinders i guess but they are MEANT for weed, but yeah my buddy has a grinder and he gets quite a bit of keef going through that thing

My multichamber is a plastic shit ass looking thing... its got a stash in the top, then teeth spot, then catch.. maybe its just me but whenever I make sure the weed is real dry before putting it through I can get a nice bowl of crystal for maybe a quarter 0
