well I dont know really what to say but I was turned onto weed last year and have loved it since. But sometimes I feel like shit even when I smoke, is weed really that answer to all our problems?

I just had an argument with a friend because from watching him chill with me, he was using weed as an escape. I refused to supply for him anymore until he actually got some help instead of escaping.
Weed is not a problem solver. If anything, it's a problem maker. It's something you do to perhaps relax, or do when you hang out with friends...I don't think it should be much else.

I looked into your eyes and saw,
a world that does not exist,

a world I wish I was in...

Sometimes i really like that. I just love being blazed off my face and knowing i have to talk to someone about some shit, or do something. it'salways playing on my mind, and it keeps me alert.President Beavis wrote:Nah, pots more valuable in celebration of solving your problems beforehand, for me at least. A lot of the time I'll feel like shit If I'm high and know I still need to work some shit out.

Okay... Alot of right answers. Like most people said It's not a problem solver completely. It can be in certain situations. Say pain, It wont take it away completely but it'll help. It will also paranoid you out. When I had a boxers fracture, i smoked, and it helped. But I kept thinking it would break if i moved my arm to much. But the real answer is that weed is the key. You are the lock. It opens yourself. You find out what you like, as Bob Marley says "The herb reveals you to yourself." I used to be all about gangs, and who is the toughest, and fought. Ever since i've started smoking i've picked up a wide variety of music, way more peaceful, ect.. It also helps people come together peacefully. It also helps people Relax, has plenty of medical needs, and economy needs. (Stupid goverment) And maybe why you feel like shit is because you are tired, or in a very bad mood. It'll help you relax, and change your mood, unless your stubborn and dont want to put whatevers wrong behind you. I've noticed when i'm tired in smoke I usaully get more tired, and more paranoid. When you smoke, you need to enjoy it. It's not gonna solve your problems only you can. It may give you the right choice though in decisions but it might not too. Mary Janes just there to comfort you, after you solved your problem. And it depends on what kinda problem you got. Sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. BTW welcome to the forums.

in all truth.. i think i used weed to escape my abuse...
but difference is now my opinion has changed. I got help, and then smoked weed later and during my help. So it was a therapy, a personal therapy as i see it.
Lifts the great weights off of your shoulders and places you inside a bubble which you call your own little world when your high. But in many cases people use weed to escape.. yes. But i dont think its right because when your escaping + weed = paranoia and that is what started off most of my mental health issues, as i believe. So it creates so much tension and pain inside your mind because sometimes you may dwell on that issue or topic inside your mind (whatever your escaping from) and then makes you feel worse later on.
Also you can become phycologically dependant on weed if you are escaping because when your high, that weight is lifted off... but when your sober its back on with alittle extra baggage ontop. People get addicted because in clear logic i can understand, whats the point in feeling the pain, worry and heartbreak or w/e if your sober when you can EASILY get high?
Its a vicious cycle.
On a more positive note, welcome to weedguru forums

Weed isn't so much of a problem solver, but it has helped me solve problems, it just seems to open your mind to different ideas or to things that wouldn't come naturally to you, giving you a different outlook.
I may not have tact.
But I have a gun and a clue
And a funny Idea about what I'm gonna do.
