Tobacco Banned

A few towns over, a rather big one in in relation to the other surround towns in Maine, just passed a law that it is illegal to smoke tobacco in a car with anyone under the age of 18. Now I do not smoke tobacco, I am against it and if there was a way to really make this law stick i would say great. A lot of people are mad about this but I do not see it as much of an enforced law as an attempt to ban tobacco all together because in the paper one of the law makers for that law said, maybe we will taget "No smoking in homes" next. In a large part of America, especially Maine, it is already illegal to smoke in restaurants and other public type places. Perhaps one day they will be able to ban tobacco all together and make it illegal. But I highly doubt it.

they're either trying that in my city too, or it's been banned along with those cities.

I think it's fucking stupid. I'm 17 an i don't give a fuck, but I'm still 4 months shy of 18 so what I think doesn't mean shit -_- because my opinion will change as soon as the clock strikes... well whatever time i change my mind on my bday i guess!

Around here you can't smoke inside a business or resteraunt, oh and you can't smoke within 25 feet of an entrance. I agree with this. I hate being in a resteraunt when someone is smoking, it makes it harder to breathe and I don't feel hungry anymore. If it were weed, I would start to salivate and would want to eat hella food.

So you think that they'll ban tabacco and legalize weed just to sell it through the govnt and make money off of it?

I think the government COULD make quite a bit off of selling weed. Plus they would be putting drug dealers (the bad kind) out of work, and making it so nice and relaxed weed smokers wouldn't have to deal with sketchy dealers. Plus the quality of weed in places like California and Texas would go up to what they are in BC and WA.
