humans are animals that have the innate ability to confuse themselves, and instead of veering away from this confusion they progress deeper and deeper into fantasizing about consistencies and predicting modes of hollow logic

I don't think we confuse ourselves, but the world itself is very confusing. There's so many paradoxes in our world is mindblowing, whenever we find an answer a million more questions come up. I would much rather be concious then a mindless screwing and eating machine.
