if u use a filter in a spliff does it filter out the good stuff? ive been smokin a good 4 years now and generally heard that filters dont do anything for your high, but my m8 the other day said she used one and still got mashed... any thoughts?

filters...what do you mean by filters?
If you mean
A) a cigarette filter...then YES, it does filter out the majority of the TLC.
B) juts a regular tip (rolled slice of cardpaper) you put in a j when you roll it up,...then no. it doesnt do anything.

I am not sure as to whether the regular swan filters used for making rollups with rolling tobacco filters out the majority of the THC. I certainly havent read anything to prove that fact. Personal experience lends me to assume that some of the high is filtered but a significant amount still gets through to the body. The best way to try is to simply start toking with a filter then see if you end up smoking your bid quicker and try gauge your high.
Filters may well absorb more than a portion of tar but to prove exactly what it is they block is difficult without scientific proof.

swan filters are points less in joints, in my experience the card board filter (roach)_ stops you sucking up shit and the end getting into a soggy mess

yea man thats what i thought, animal you're probably right but i wont risk wasting my weed on something that might filter out the good stuff. maybe if im in the money one day...
