Cannabis Oil/Extract... Alcohol/Acetone Cook with? - Smell?

I know that THC and cannaboids are soluable in fatty acids and oils as well as alcohol and acetone. I have two questions.


1.) After evaporation, will using Isopropyl Alcohol or Acetone to extract THC affect the consumability?
2.) After any extraction of THC and Cannaboids with Alcohol or Acetone, can the resulting oils/extracts be used to cook? If so, is it as easy as adding the extracts to the list of ingredients(i.e. no bud butter to cook with, and little to no smell.)

I read an article on totse.com that explained how to make weed cigarettes. They basically added THC and Cannaboid extracts to regular tobacco. The result, according to the article, was a cigarette that smelled like tobacco yet got you high.

If this is possible, as it is according to the article, could these extracts be added to ingredients when cooking to allow for a THC laced food without the smell of marijuana while cooking?

Obviously it will smell when you do the extractions, but after the extraction would it be possible to cook with the extract with little to no smell of marijuana.


I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with using alcohol extracts in cooking rather than a THC oil extract(i.e. bud butter, peanut oil extracts and other oil extracts.

It sounds like you're talking about hash oil and cannabutter which are two different things. If you're looking to cook with the THC your best bet would be making cannabutter. You cook the herb into a butter then strain out the herb. Your final product will be butter with THC in it that you can eat on practically anything.

No need to be a dick, but yes you can add extracts to foods with little to no smell. What? You never thought to just try it? wow, cocky little kids still trying to use Acetone and Grain alcohol to make hash. Ewww, thats fucking gross.
