This guy is claiming that the residue (black stuff in your pipe doesn't get you high at all and the feeling of 'high' that you get simply comes from oxygen-deprivation and the carcinogen shit in the residue.

So... wtf? Whats the TrÜF?

ive done it before and i thought it was getting me high.. but i did do it after i got extremely stoned so it could hav all been in my head. If u asked me before i read the link i would have answered no, but now that ive read it im changing my mind to a no.

i've tried it, its disgusting, its crappy, it barely gives u a hit, heck i think that even half of the tiny hit it gives u is just from all the shit ur re-smokin
i mean the %of canabinoids in pipe residue is probably goin to be minute, myself i wouldnt bother

I voted yes, even tho i have never gotten high from resin i know my roommate has so i voted yes for him haha. I am not that desperate to try it if i dont have weed. But one night he hadnt smoked all day and he just kept hitting it, he was clearly baked. Speaking of resin you all should go on myspace, look up The Supervillians and listen to their song resin on their page

Theres a line in there which reads:

"Our work suggests that Delta 9-THC becomes highly concentrated in the tar phase of marijuana smoke, reaching levels five times higher than that present in the original plant material."

Personally, I can get high off it but its not the same kind of high. But i refuse to believe its like a placebo effect and ALL the people i know that smoke it occasionally are not actually high. So while res is real sick... i think it does the job

I've gotten insanely high off res, ball the size of a quarter or something, out of lots of pieces, and me and my friend got like 25 hits each or something crazy like that...

it tastes like absolute crap... its not worth the small amount of buzz it gives you...save the monies and buy some bud...
plus if i cleaned my piece for an hour... then rinsed it and dried it... i would no longer be high from my first tokes... and back to square one... just not happening for me

I spread the resin on my cigarettes (heat it up and paint it on) and cut the filter about 2/3 off. Yes, it does have an effect but it's like smoking schwag and the high is short-lived.
