ive heard people in this site refer to a dimebag as being about a gram and costing about 10 bucks but on haorld and kumar when kumar goes up to that hippie and says '' give me a dime of ya finest sticky '' it looks more than a gram and the dude wants 80 bucks for it. the he says its worth 40 tops?!?!?!?
being from united kingdom ive never heard of a dime much and just curious to wat this dimebag actrually is.

^True you should never believe what cops say, but also true that a dimebag is generally $10 worth of whatever kind of weed you are buying. The reason they said that is because it's a fucking movie, hollywood doesn't know what the fuck they are talking about, what the kid pulled out was easily a half ounce plus, probably an ounce, and if it was decent shit worth well more than $80.

Since we're talking about slang terms for weed in movies, I have a question about Clerks 2 (and I guess Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back).

In those movies, a guy approaches Jay and asks for a Nickle Bag.

Jay responds, "15 bucks, little man! Put that shit, in my hand. Nong, nong, naganaga nong nong!"

Then he passes him a little sack that looks like .5 or 1 gram.

So if a "dime" is 1 gram and a "nickle" is .5 grams... half a gram for 15 bucks? Unless a nickle in New Jersey (or Kevin Smith's mind) is a gram.
