I think they're one of the best, and most influential bands in history. They have such a unique sound, I love the use of the organ. Not to mention Jim Morrison's trippy lyrics and hypnotizing voice.

Oh, i love the doors. They are definatly one of my main influences, music wise. I remember sitting in a car with some friends on vancouver island smoking a blunt and listening to riders on the storm. It was quite an awesome experience.

The Doors are undoubtedly one of the few groups who truly shook the foundation of music and left it better off than it was. Jim Morrison took the art form, made love to it, smacked it, drunkenly shit in its mouth, brushed off its shoulders, and said "I'm sorry", before making love to it one more time. And music loved every damn minute of it.
