What languages do you speak?

I speak fluent French and English and a tad bitty bit of Spanish....Well, I can sort of read it, but can't really pronounce much!

i speak english pretty wickedly at times, and i have been studying italian with a friend for 8 months whcih is getting better all the time.

Unfortunately I'm the typical british type who only speaks english. I can order food in Italian (work in an italian) and I can just about get by in French but only buying stuff in shops etc. can't actually manage a conversation. I should really do something about it at some point.

i wouldnt say that its the typical british type, more like the typical english speaker. i only speak english, and some french and spanish which ive learnt at school. i can read spanish quite well but not speak it, the same with french too.

Yeah but the language teaching in this country is appauling. Its more or less pointless. Most non english speaking countries teach english and the students actually come away from it being able to speak english, we on the other hand come away being able to say Hi my name is, I am x years old I want to buy a rubber etc.

I can speak Japanese and Indonesian, and I can write Indonesian, and I'm beginning to learn French off my girlfriend (god it's awesome hearing a hot girl ask the time in French

i love foreign languages! although i'm oneo f few that i know of. i speak fluent english and german. i'm almost fluent in japanese. i have a good bit of polish and russian. some french, some spanish, some chinese, and some korean. i have to say tho, almost everything i learned that's been of use was either learned in that country or from native speakers. school hasn't been much good.
