STADIUM ARCADIUM

Post by Post-Modern/Charlie »

you guys have to go buy this double disc set by Red hot chili peppers. In my opinion i think it's the best album they've ever put out with songs like snow and tell me baby and some other great ones. This album is fucking insane to listen to baked and you'll always find what your looking for in every song.

Definitely want to hear new Chili Peppers. Unfortunately, as of now I'm broke. Guess I'll have to wait until payday :x

every song on the album sounds like one of their old ones, i dont think the chilis are capable of making bad music but this cd doesnt have the same emotion or imagination.

I disagree whole heartedly! The songs have plenty of staying power and contain a surplus of emotion and imagination. The only reason you would think the songs are similar to older tracks is the fact that, for the most part, they returned to their funk/rock roots. If you were a musician I doobie leave (do believe) you would have a much different outlook.

i am not really much of a chilli willy fan... however i heard the song
"snow" (i think thats what it is called).. .from their new album today
i liked it quite a lot...
however radio will undoubtedly kill this aswell ( i heard it for the first second third and fourth times today- and i dont really listen to radio all that much - haha)
but for now.. it is quite catchy!

No doubt man, I hate when they do that to bands. You like one...then suddenly it's like EVERYWHERE!!!

Not my thing. I've never been much of a chillies fan. I like the odd song here and there (zephyr song, californiacation) but i wouldnt say i liked them enough to buy an album. I have heard this album, but i'll stick with my usuals.

Chili Peppers are totally overrated, I think. Some good songs but for the most part to me they just sound like generic alt. rock with some funk added...
Except for Flea. Best bassist EVER next to Steve Harrison of Iron Maiden. Respect.
