Well guys hash is a very rare treat down here especially with what I've been told about the quality. So what's the best way to smoke this stuff? Which way does it get you highest and taste the best?

I'm thinking of hitting it in my glass pipe, bong, or rolling it up in something.

i dont see how it is a very rare treat considering 90% of hash i smoke comes from florida(im pretty sure you're from florida right?). but yeah knives are the way to go but if you're lazy just throw some in your pipe.

Ok, hash rains near where i live, the best way to smoke hash is combined with weed, in a bong. Trust me, you can't hate it.

Yeah up north it's more common because that's where the growers are but its rarely smoked in Miami.

Here's another question: what are some signs of good quality aside from smoking it and finding out?

From my extraordinarily limited experience with it, I can only say that consistent coloring is important. It should also be slightly crumbly and oily, not hard.

That's all I really know about it. Perhaps the magic of google could shed more light on the situation.

I don't know if you're still wondering...but when I put hash into google the first thing I found was

"Pinch a small lump of hash (about the size of a match head) on to a flat enamel surface or ashtray, and play the flame of a lighter over the hashish for a few seconds. If it's GREAT hash it will light on the first or second attempt. The harder the piece of hash is to light, the more likely it is that you've been sold a 'lemon'.

Once you've got your test piece of cannabis in flames, let it burn for a couple of seconds and blow it out. The embers should glow evenly like fine incense or a hot coal. The smoke it gives off should be milky white to blue gray with a heady, rich and sweet aroma. If you can smell rubber, this is never good, and is another excellent indication that you've been shafted.

Once your hashish tester has burnt completely, you should look for a fine white ash. If it's too dark, this indicates contaminants. These can be anything from waste leaves to car oil. Around the ash, a ring of oil will form. The more oil and the lighter it's color, the purer and higher quality your hash.

The secret 'recipes' of Moroccan hash-making are jealously guarded. Some include honey; others use old car tires. As a general rule of thumb, if it's easy to crumble when at room temperature and gives a rich aromatic smell, then it's more than likely to be okay gear. If it's got more in common with the consistency of a brick, and no real smell, leave well alone.

Smell and taste aside, some simply believe that if it gets you stoned and makes you smile, it's good hash."

Unlike in weed, you dont have to load the spliff with hash.. you CAN crush and sprinkle about a finger nail sized lump into a tobaccos stripped from say a Marlboro Red sized cig..

roll as usual..

I've been mixing it with weed so that the weed serves as ignitor to the resin. It's worked out pretty well so far.

Smoking hash-weed joints here is a waste because weed in North India is fucked up shit..usually boiled with opium water. Gives you this annoying headache after a couple of spliffs.
White people come here, though and fall on their faces stoned after they smoke it...

Then they try the hash..and forget everything else..
