Windowsill Plants. calling gardeners.

Im looking for a plant (not weed im 16 and livin' with the rents') that i can grow on my windowsill. im thinking of growin' some hemp to get the idea of keeping weed alive. but what is a nice windowsill indoor plant?

something offbeat, im not lookin' for lillies or anything, something original.
im not too much of a plant guru so im not sure what plant i am looking for.

any gardeners, or just plant-knowlegable people want to post suggestions, i'd apreceate it.

Don't grow it windowsill...just don't lol...there wouldnt be enough room for the roots, you'd get so tiny buds....this belongs in the growing section too :p

what are you on about there wouldnt be enough room for the roots, just put em in a bigger pot, the roots will have plenty of room.

Anyways I think you should grow tomatoes they are quite similar to weed, nettles are close relatives to weed but you don't want them on your window sill

if you can grow tomatoes good you'll have a head start on learning to about growing weed organically (in compost), if you get into the whole gardener thing and learn about plants and growing stuff. Alot of people I know started growing tomatoes and vegetables, and it gave them a lot of backround knowledge about growing that they applied when they started growing weed. They knew what defficiencys to look out for, nutes, nute burn, pests, watering, all sorts.

windowsill trots are only like...5-8 inches deep...that would be a small plant...unless it was just one in the windowsill with the whole length to grow along the bottom. I love you Rasta Grl...<3

Yeah botony is cool...watching a plant grow...taking care of it...yeah, they say if you can take care of a plant from seed to death, you can handle a kid. :p
