make a bamboo pipe?

hi,

im trying to make a bamboo pipe i can get the bamboo easy enough but one the bamboo pipes you can buy they have a metal bowl i was just wondering if anyone knew where you could get one or how you could easily make a good one

Go to a head shop...it's a place that sells marijuana materials like bongs, papers, pipes, etc. They should have a wide selection of metal and glass bowls.

If you're too young or no headshop exists in your town, the best advice I could give would be to steal a 5/8" socket from a socket/wrench set.

thats what i do, get a small - medium sized socket and cut a hole in a coke bottle lid and put the socket in thier, if you pro u can cut the hole perfect so air wont leak in around it but if u cant then u just plug it with bluetack or glue.

that is called a cone and u can put it on the end of buckies old faithfulls and lungs.

oh and also how should i sucure the bowl in should i just make a perfectly hole in the bamboo and sink it without any glue or anything?? and i asume a socet/wrench thing is one of those spanner things that you can put lots of different sizes pieces in yeer?

yes you got the idea, i made one that works pretty well, i dried out the bamboo for a while so the hole was really easy to cut. just make it smug, if it falls out you can use some super glue. also, try to get a screen for it. also, think about cutting a carb, that improved mine alot

a 5 minute drawing of a slider bong, you could use anything really for the chamber, and you don't need a carb.

You dont have to put a metal bowl in it. It works without one it just taste funny for a while until it gets all ressed up and tastes like bud. You could put a thymbol in their for a bowl though and put a hole in it with a nail.
