OK so the page says I have a new pm, but when I try to look at it, it says "not authorised" can anyone help me out?

you can't access your private message bank until you have made 50 posts on the forums. This was a measure introduced to stop the spamming that plagued the site at the start of this year. It also serves as encouragement to post.
