Moderator Vacancy

I am saddened to tell you that Weedguru Gorecore is returning to his position as normal member; relinquishing his moderator priveliges/duties. The reason for this is that he has decided he doesnt have the neccesary free time to give the position what it needs, so, i say a big thanks to Gorecore for been straight/honest and now yeh, we have a vacancy for a new Moderator..

What we are after::----(from the potentil new Moderator)

CRazy to frequent weedguru presence.
Techincal Knowledge.
Decency
A unbreakable love for marijuana
a stoner mentality.
good heart.
maturity.
Commitment to mainating/improving weedguru.

So if you feel you meet some/all of the criteria, please come forward........

we are mroe than happy to accept nominations from members, and we are asking our current moderators to input their own suggestions, but the weedguru decsion body will boil down in the end to asmodeus as the brain, and me as the heart.......

but yeh nominations are fine, encouraged even!!!
lets see some then....

I know I might seem a n00b as I wasnt on much but I have been here since 2004. I am here most days if not everyday now, I have technical knowledge of phpBB, I love weed, Im laid back, dont threat over things. Im pretty mature, tho we all need a little bit of immaturity in us and I enjoy coming here.

good for you Dave! I would encourage anyone with time and a desire to help to step up and just say you are willing to give it a shot. I am new here, but guru_higher left a huge vacancy in the grow section. I saw that someone was wanted to help try to fill this void - and I said I was willing to try. I think that really counts toward anyone wanting this responsibility, the desire to try to help make this site a good place. Ability, desire and the capacity to handle responsibility are all needed, but the desire to help is critical. Dont be shy, if you want to help this site, say so. Nothing magical happens by the way when you do get the vote of confidence from everyone to become a "guru" - you just are expected to help as much as you feel is reasonable. Dont do it expecting some amazing power or anything, its just a volunteer to help everyone in any area where you believe you can do so.

I would apply, but i don't think i could commit my time, and i am not knowledgable about phpBB. I think we should choose a more experience member (sorry BigDave, maybe in a month or two

Good morning. I would like to apply for the position of moderator. I feel that I may fit the criteria. I have always tried to treat people as fair as possible. I have a very good idea of the rules here, my love affair with ganja is one that will never fade. I have alot of free time that I usually use to surf these forums. I think it would be cool if I could help out here in any way possible. I love this site and all of the people involved. Anyways, that's my aplication.

k maybe some of the people nominated aren't here now, so im gonna apply.

I visit the forums at least once a day, and so far i see it staying that way until the either the site or the internet stop.
I dont have much technical knowledge but i can learn what i need to know.
In my time on the site i've shown as much decency as i can and in my opinion i've been as mature and honest as I can in the topics i've posted in, since i joined the site aged 15.
Obviously i'd put my best into improving the site as I post and read posts here everyday, and the more enjoyable the site is for the posters, including myself, the better.
I dont know about the stoner mentality but i spend pretty much all day everyday stoned so its possible that the weed might have an affect on my decision making

I was planning to stay out of this but my vote would go to Cusmar. I have chatted with him before and seems like a cool down to earth guy who frequents weedguru and smokes a good amount of pot. We could also use a european moderator on the forum especially someone who is on the site everyday. Cusmar has been frequenting the site for a while and he shows a general love for weedguru.

Nah, like Animal said, I can't really devote my time much to the forums. Plus, I'm a very impartial guy who might be a bit too laid back...and too stoned sometimes to make a good judgement call.

"Did that offend me? Would that offend anyone else? Should I delete that post?"

Whew...my brain hurts just thinking about it

I also told Animal on MSN that I will always be around these parts. That is, until the site goes down, the world blows up, or I'm ashes to ashes.
