My last post might of made me seem a bit ignorant. Im not homophobic, i wouldn't spit at the few hundred gay couples i see in town or anything i have to be tollerant coz i live in the gay capital. I just really don't think its natural, infact tbh it makes me feel sick when i walk into town and see two gays kissing, but as i say it's to be expected. I really don't mind if they get married, as long as it doesn't mean more gays snogging in public.

So, let's turn the tables here a little bit. Do gay couples state "Damn, I wish there were less straight people snogging in public!" No. We're acceptable of your hetrosexual relationship with your partner. That is somewhat homophobic, what you stated, barely.

I wish you'd view it from both sides of the table. These people are natural. They fell in love. It's a natural love. No medication was involved to make these people think that it's natural, it just occured. Kinda like a hetrosexual relationship, ironic, isn't it?

I am not the least bit homophobic and dont have a problem with any gay person i have ever met, but in my opinion gay marriage is wrong. Since the beginning of time the traditional couple has consisted of male and female. Just because you find a hole to stick it in doesnt mean that it belings there.
I'm really not trying to put down any gay people but I have a problem with them trying to pass homosexuality as a natural thing, especially with the books that are being tried to put in circulation in elementary schools.

Im straight. One of my friends is gay. It dont bother me, if thats his sexual orientation then fair enough. Aslong as he dont hit on me i have nothing against it. I remember once someone said 'You cant choose who you fall in love with', meaning you may be straight but you may one day fall in love with someone that is the same sex as you etc.....

I think its a good thing that gay couple's can now get married. 2 guys in my street are now going to get married. They said if they get married then it makes things easier with finances, life insurance etc... plus if one of them dies all their money/possesions would go straight to the other partner instead of it taking a few years before the other partner can claim it.

I had a bi friend a year or so ago, i had the same views as you. We got into a pissed argument over my views on homosexuality and he got really pissed off. We are ok mates now but we dont talk as much at all. I understand men can fall in love with other men of course, but i dont see why that makes it natural.

I'm not really bothered. To be honest, i do thing gay relationships are unatural. If men were supposed to mate with other men, then they would have the ability to concieve a child together. Plain and simple. It is evolution, and only morons and devout christians argure with the theory of evolution.

But what people do is their own fucking business. People will be gay no matter what people think, for some reason it's in their nature to be attracted to the same sex, so why not let them marry? Their love may be unnatural to you and me, but it is still love, and do they not deserve to express in the way others do it simply because it is not socially acceptable? People should have the right to do and say as they please as long as it does not directly harm anyone else.

i think gays should have the right to be just as miserable as the rest of us. i'm straight, and i have a few gay friends that are the most wonderful people. so what if you don't agree, gay people aren't affecting you, love is love. well in my opinion at least.
