LOST DOCUMENT!

Im writing an essay for a sociology course its a 2000 word essay and i was about 700 words in. I saved the document and close word but when i went to go retrieve the document it was a blank page. Does anyone know of any way i can retrieve this?

Check that the document doesnt have multiple pages. maybe your essay is on page 1 and your looking at page 2 (blank page). Thats the only thing i can really think of

i tried that but it was only one page doesnt really matter now because i started over

i like the class but this report is killing me 2000 words about voodoo in haiti and how its still present in the US
