well ive been smoking weed for a while in a bong made from an aluminium can but i have recently heard that its really bad for you health is this true?

There is no proven link between aluminum and alzheimers. That started because of a study in the 60s that did show aluminum would mess up animals if they were injected with it, but the effects were not the same as those of alzheimers. Later, autopsys of alzheimers sufferers showed an increase in the ammount of aluminum in the brain, but there was never a causal relationship shown. Let me try to find a link.
