You can play any kind of poker but instead of betting money, bet whacks. You can fold to avoid getting whacked. Bluffing doesn't really work though, coz if you get called you'll get whacked, and if you make everyone fold you won't have anyone to whack.
The forced anty for every hand is one good hard stinging whack with the doweling rod administered by the winner of the hand to each player who called. The whacks are to be taken on the forearm. You can bet whacks and win a hand that allows you to deliver 2, 3 or even 5 blows to your friends. The blows will leave welts and make them eager to win a hand so they can whack you. It really hurts when someone whacks you in the same spot. Tip: if you want a competitive edge, whack them diagonally. It takes up more space so all subsequent whacks will have to go on top of already tender welts.
The winner is the person with the least amount of welts at the end of the game!
