Now THAT'S fucked up

Post by BlueBull »

I went to a friend of mine today, and he had like this cute cat at home, called Aramis, now he lives in a neigbourhood that isn't all that great to live in, lot's a fights, lots of crazy people... Now he has this neighbour who's like this crazy old white guy, he's always yelling at people and preaching about how rotten the society is.. Now my friend had a dispute with that guy about his cat, his cat tends to go in the guys garden and do his thing there, instead of in the litterbox. The old guy started screaming to my friend about it a few weeks ago and my friend placed this electric fence to keep his cat from going out (the fence works like this: the cat is wearing an electric collar and when he gets to close to the fence, gets a mild shock) now that was working great and all, not a single problem... Untill yesterday when the cat managed to sneak past it again and did his thing in the crazy guy's garden again. My friend went up to the guy apologizing. Now I got over to my friends house today, and he was all white and he was shaking all over... Turns out he opened his door to get his newspaper this morning, to find his cat cut open on his doorstep, no blood at all, just a clean cut along the stomach, and ofcourse it was dead... I left my friend to be 'caus he couldn't even talk, he was that shocked...

Now my question is: what would you do? Because we aint gonna put up with this, something must be done... But what?

Sorry to hear all this man. I think you could go about it 2 ways, assuming it was the old man that killed your friend's cat.

1. You could go the violent way, but you can't necessarily go up to a old man and kick his ass.

Option 2 (and probably the best option) is to call the cops and tell them. All signs point to the old man. I mean he had a motive and history of not getting along with your friend.

Whatever you to keep us updated and good luck.

Yeah but the problem with cops here is they always tend to say: "well we don't have enough evidence, so we'll let it be..."

I've rounded up a few mates to pay him a visite tomorrow, we're going in with 3 guys and just talk in the beginning, but at the moment he says something that indicates he did it, I'm gonna let my cellphone ring and all hell is gonna break loose

The chances are slim but existent that he didn't do it, so I'll keep you posted...

*edit* if he doesn't say anything pointing to him, we're gonna alert the cops though, I don't wanna be kicking some guy around who didn't do it anyways...

Yeah I know, we're not gonna do anything if he doesn't say something like "I like cats, especially when they're dead" or something, just something really obvious

Lol no, I don't think it's possible to get dynamite legally in Belgium without a permit.. We do have an army surplus shop around here, but they don't sell that kinda stuff

He's like in his 60's that's why I ain't so keen to kick his ass, I'd feel guilty, even if he killed that cat... Dunno what to do... We'll be paying him a visit tomorrow, let's see how that goes...

Ok so my friend just called me, his nice little leighbour is now threatening to slit his throath if he sees one more cat in his garden (so yeah, that's just plain saying he killed the poor lil cat) so now tomorrow me and my friends (including the cat owner, he's now gonna crash at my place, doesn't feel safe alone in his house with that guy nextdoor) are gonna go over to him and one of my friends is gonna tape the whole thing with his cellphone, so if we can resist temptation and not fuckin kick his wrinkled ass, we have something to show the cops, one way or the other we're gonna get him...
