I never had to put a lock on my door.....my parents had to put a lock on their door

I'm serious, they were like totally scared of me at one point cause I was so pissed sbout them repeatedly calling the cops on me and stuff

I'm not allowed to have a lock. I had one once, it was just a hook from the inside. They thought I was gonna end up fucking my girlfriend, so they didn't aprove. I only put it there for privacy purposes, for example, when I'm like changing my clothes, or jerkin' it. If my dad wants to ask me something and I'm in the room with the door shut, he'll knock on the door, and open immedeately afterwards, without waiting for a response. Gah. I had it locked once when I was doing homework, my mom tried to walk in but found the door to be locked. So I unlocked it and she's all like "Why's the door locked? It makes me wonder what you could be doing in here." What the fuck would I be doing in there? Snortin coke?
My parents said that if I didn't remove the lock, they would remove the door.

[edit] BG how old are you? I always thought you were like 22 or something but seeing how that your parents would make a fuss like that makes me think you're younger.

I have a lock on my door, but no key for it, so when I'm not in the room, anyone can get in. I'm always suspicious of other people snooping around in my room, but don't actually have any proof, so, can't do anything. Darn.

Would be nice to have a lock and key, though.

haaaaaaahaha, shit. I once caught my brother's friends in my room..3 of them. Needless to say, my top drawer was a mess.. stupid little bastards, padlocks went up the next day. yeah so now I have two padlocks on my door, one combination and one key.. not cus I feel like I have to hide stuff from my parents cus they couldn't discipline me if they tried... I just don't want those fuckers touching my things. It creeps me out knowing that other people are in "my space". I'm weird that way but I feel like I should have complete control over what goes on in my room. It's mine.

Although, I think I have serious issues cus I lock my door even when I'm in my house... like if I go to the kitchen or bathroom or something.... oh well I'm moving in a week.

i got a lock but its a shitty one u can unlock it with ur fuckin nail or anything with a straight edge.. it was on the door when i got it. w/e it does the trick no one can just bust into my room if its locked and if there gunna unlock it and im in it i can hide w/e might get me in trouble at the time (porn, weed, naked girls, coke, exo, scales, bags, money). if i go out i dont bother locking it.. if it would cause drama its on me or hidden when i leave.

I used to have a lock on my door, but now i dont need one. If my mum comes and messes around with my stuff, then i'll go n mess around with her stuff, and she REALLY doesn't want that.

My mum always goes in my room to search for shit but she never finds anything that matters. My stepdad used to steal my weed but then i started stealing his weed loads more (i used to be careful till i found out what he'd been up to) my mum got pissed off with me and I told her I knew my stepdad had been taking my shit and she got even more pissed off with him.
I used to be safe cause i had a top floor room with a crappy lock like macs my mum kicked me out in to a room only big enough for my bed and my pc and just today she has said if i smoke in the house i'm gettin kicked out and i know she is serious. This is ok for the last few summer months but in a couple of months smoking in the rain is gonna seriously piss me off.
I honestly think my mum wants me to leave home before i've had time to finish college cause everyday their is a new reason why im gonna get kicked out

So, i have a door with a lock but no key for the lock... bummer

i'm kinda fed up with my mom 'cleaning' my room and finding shit.

Like before she knew i smoked i hid my rolling gear pretty well, in drawers people don't just go into for no reason (especially not cleaning). Then after i hid the stuff i'd come back from a friend or whatever the next day and my mom would be pissed because she found the stuff. She's always like 'Nick,i'm not going through your stuff to find this, i was just cleaning'

yeah fucking right, cleaning the inside of my bottom left drawer, the inside of the cardboard box that used to contain a harrier fighter model and the smaller cardboard box inside the bigger cardboard box
