Seasonal Music

Post by Shwoot »

Does anybody find that the time of year has an effect on which music you listen to? I can feel the temperature changing, so seasons always put me in a different mood. For example, fall brings me nostalgia. My band preference changes along with the months. At the beginning of summer, I'm usually into a CKY/HIM/A7X phase. Now it's getting a bit colder, and I can feel fall coming, so I have an urge to listen to Atreyu.
Anybody else get this way?

Definitely- during the winter and football season everything slows down and im always exhausted. Most of the time I won't feel like listening to heavy rap, too much going on. I'll listen to softer music or at least listen to it not as loud. Maybe it has something to do with that condition where like moods are more depressed based on the season...I dont know if u know what im talking about :?: :dunno:

Yeah I know what you mean. I believe it's got something to do with summer being "mating season," and now that it's over it makes people depressed. But that's part of a big article I'm gonna write so I won't get into detail about that...
